Common Custom:documentary & archive
We are a spoken word project dedicated to recording, archiving and publishing talks, lectures and commentaries of historical, cultural, political and intellectual significance.
Over the last five years we have recorded hundreds of meetings, lectures talks and speeches. We are currently working with the London Review Bookshop to record and archive their author events as well as the Poetry Society to record their annual lecture and 'Under the Influence' events. We are interested in the myriad aspects of recording the human voice, spoken word public events, audience engagement and reaction and the study of auditory culture.
